Sell your product with us!

At the Locavore Store we do things a bit differently. Anyone is welcome to sell their products through our store as long as they meet our ethical and sustainable standards - and our requirements for low food miles. If you meet the requirements below, please follow the link to create a seller profile. Once you have done that you can give us a call on 0480 235 274 and let us know when you'd like to drop off your products! 

1) Are your products ethical and sustainable? This will be different for all products, whether it's high welfare standards for meat, using regenerative farming methods, low chemical inputs or natural and unprocessed products. You will know if your product is addressing sustainability in some way. 

2) Your product meets Slow Food parameters of Good, Clean and Fair:

  • GOOD: quality, flavorsome and healthy food
  • CLEAN: production that does not harm the environment
  •  FAIR: accessible prices for consumers and fair conditions and pay for producers

3) Your product has incurred the lowest food miles possible to our store. For fresh food this must be less than 100kms, but for products not grown or made within this range, we will accept the closest possible -please call Tamieka on 0419902 904 if you'd like to discuss.

Become a Locavore Store vendor!

You will need pictures of your products and the price you would like to sell them for. We take a 30% commission from each sale, so please set the customers price to include this.

To set up your online profile within our store your will need:


• A head shot of you, the business owner
(185 x 185 pix is ideal)

• Your current logo (165 x 165 pix)

• A store banner (900 x 225pix) 


• A store description including why or how you are using ethical and sustainable practices

• A seller description - a more personal paragraph about you and why you do what you do

• A seller policy (ie -if you offer a full refund if the customer is not happy)

AND all your social media handles if you have them.

If you don’t have access to image editing software please just send what you have - we can sort the rest. 


You will also need your BSB and account number or PAYPAL email so we can pay you! *Payments automatically go through on the first of each month unless requested otherwise.
